1996 Ford F-250

It's time to let this beautiful truck go after owning for 20 years.  This is a 1996 crew cab, short bed, Powerstroke diesel.  These trucks in this configuration are very rare and nearly impossible to find in this condition. Every time this truck leaves the garage I literally have people flag me down and ask if I want to sell it.  Well now is the time and all of the asks missed out.
This truck has 100 % of its original paint.  I has never been wrecked or abused.  When I first purchased this truck in 2001, it was my daily driver.  After a few years, I purchased another daily driver and this truck just became an occasional driver and was used for camping trips.
The truck has a 6 inch Tuff Country lift on it.  When the lift was installed, I also scrapped the horrible independent from suspension that for used on all of its F150 & F250 trucks.  It was replaced with a solid axle from a 1996 F350.  This is a simple bolt in swap. It fits and works perfectly.  The transmission was replace at 110,00 miles, so the trans only has 61,000 miles on it.
The tires are almost new.  They only have a few hundred miles on them.  They are 315/75/16's, BFG All Terrain TA's. This translates to 35 x 12.50's.  Also, in this last 2 months, I upgraded the turbo and injectors.  It has the 6 position TSL chip installed.  On the highest setting this truck really lays down the smoke and really flies.
In the bed it has a goose neck hitch and a fifth wheel hitch.  The fifth wheel hitch removed with 4 bolts.  I never used the goose neck hitch, but its there and it rotates up properly.  The tool box in the bed is not included in the sale.
